Suction
Care Outcomes provides care staff who are fully trained and competent with suctioning techniques. This enables them to care for our clients who are unable to maintain a clear airway themselves and may require suction to help remove secretions from their upper airways.
Suctioning the upper airways correctly is vital. If done incorrectly, it can be stressful for the client as well as ineffective. That’s why our training is so comprehensive. We’re fully confident that our care staff provide excellent suctioning care when required.
Not only are our staff technically competent, they are trained to listen to the concerns of clients and families. Listening is incredibly important. When a procedure or treatment is new, it can seem daunting, both for the patient and those around them. That’s why our staff take the time to explain everything they are doing and answer any questions, no matter what they are!
Care isn’t just about being there to provide treatments and personal assistance – it’s about being there as a person, a contact and a friendly-face. Our care staff strive to build supportive relationships with clients. People are more than just the sum of their physical needs. Emotional support and providing for social needs play a huge part in the care we deliver.
